I went to college in the US and I have a Social security number, during that time I obtained a credit card that I still have and use (every three years or so I receive my new card) and make payments on time (through registered mail). I would like to receive a copy of my credit report, but every number I call (FTC, Equifax, Experion, TransUnion) has an automated system and won't let me speak to a rep. And the FTC web page is only accessible through US internet service providers. What can I do??

  1. I used to work as a cust serv rep for a bureau.. Anyway, send a photocopy of your ssn and driver's license to the address below and attach a cover letter stating your purpose. Numbers for credit bureaus change regularly to put off unauthorized calls. And the only way for you to get a phone number is through getting your own copy (the number will be printed on there). FYI everyone is entitled to get a free annual credit report.
