I lived + worked in mount Isa -Australia for 4 years. any one remembers BOYD'S BEER GARDEN ?what a rough BAR.

hey, i am in mt isa.  I have not heard of Boyd's beer garden. How long ago was that & where abouts in town?

It's not too bad here, but not too great either. I miss the beach! and shade for that matter.

I am a bit worried about all the research that they have just done with the lead. It scares me a bit. Hopefully we wont be here too much longer.

Many years ago I stayed in Mount Isa.but since then have only travelled through . Mount Isa certainly is unique and with so many single men there for the mining work  it's no wonder it was always a bit rough. They work and they play. so the main pass time when not working is drinking. I've always thought it's probably the best town to go if you are a single female looking for a husband as the males far out way females there.

Sorry, never lived there but I would LOVE to go to Australia.  I live in the U.S.A., Orlando, Florida.  Is it great over there?
