I lookafter 15 Computers all are connected with each other but some machines are very slow in starting. Why?

well one reason could be because they all have different programs that start up when you turn on the computer. You should try disabling programs that you don't need to start up when you turn on the computers. To do this go to start, then go to run and type in msconfig and press enter. then a window should pop up. go to the start up tab and start un-checking programs you don't want to start up automatically when you turn on your computer.

Maybe the startup list is too heavy on some of them.

Also check if they need a defrag. If they are workstations, you can centrally set an automatic defrag using one of the automatic defragmenters to do the job easily in no time.

Do these computers have different items on the startup? If so, that is most likely why they take longer to startup... The more stuff a computer has to load on startup, the longer it takes to get going.....

This depends upon which OS do u have on all of them..... but i think that the reasons for them being slow might be the virus infection or low amount of ram or slow processing speeds etc. For virus infection just consult free online scanners..... for others first try to reinstall OS like XP (only) if that doesn't help than u have no choice other than to UPGRADE......... plz don't use any system tools on slow pcs as they would become more slow as they consume more memory than normal programs.... Also if u have installed programs like PHOTOSHOP then plz remove them as they consume nearly half of the memory of computer...... use such softwares on high performance computers............ ALL THIS SHOULD HELP OTHERWISE FEEL FREE TO CONSULT ME BY REFERRING THE QUESTION I WOULD BE HAPPY TO RESOLVE UR PROBLEM.........
