I looking for a guitar and amp but i don't know what to get... Any suggestions?

My style is classic rock (60's-80's). (This next part may get a little confusing) The type of sound I want out of my amp is crunch without clean in the background and no fuzz, just straight crunch. But no effects. An just a cheap quality guitar to play through it.

If you can shed about 400 bucks this is a good set. the amp has crunch as a preset, all you have to do is press a button.

If by crunch you mean overdrive most guitar packs have it but make sure the guitar you're getting has humbuckers if you don't want extra buzz.

trust me i got a squier strat pack, which like except for the fact that it buzzes most of the time.
