I lost a few channels in Cablevision?

Ok, so when I came home one day, I was flipping through the channels and noticed i lost the N channel, MTV hits, and a couple more 3 digit channels..those are the channels i would basically watch but now there gone..I asked my mother if she took it out and she said no and she's paying the same bill which originally included paying for all the channels i lost...I have Cablevision (Scientific Atlanta)Digital Cable and I would like to know how to get it back for no charge cause we're already paying for these channels that still dont work.

Im 16, so can I call the cable company myself cause my mother is takin eternity to call them herself..if i called them do i need to give them the account number and stuff...wat would happen if i called them cause i want my cable back to normal soooo baddly cause I'm missing all my favorite shows and music videos

If those channels are part of your package or subscription, just call the cable company and ask them to "hit" the box.

Before you do that, you might just unplug the box (from power) for about 30 seconds.  Note that after you do that you probably won't have any guide data for about 30 minutes.  If this doesn't work, then call for the "hit".
