  1. It's like losing a money. You could try asking the clerk of the store where you bought it to provide you a copy of the stub. But then even if you got the copy, the money order can be encashed anywhere in USA by the culprit who got hold of it, and its almost next to 0 anybody will know his identity.

  2. Losing an unsigned money order is like losing cash. If you go back to the place you bought and they remember you maybe they can give you the number and cancel it. But I don't think that's very likely.

  3. I think you are really out of luck.  If you didn't put a name on the moneygram, anyone could have cashed it and it will it's going to be your word against someone else's that you didn't write it to them.  The place where you got the money order from should have a log of who purchased moneygrams.  Check with them to see if they can locate the number for you (there may be a fee for this).  Who knows what would happen if you find out who it is and sue them.  Hard to say for sure.

  4. Well that would be hard to do I'd think.. if it had a number on it where you bought it possibly. you'd have to see who cashed it, there would be record of it cause it'd go back to the place that you got if from wouldn't it? sorry i'm unsure of money grams aka money orders?
