I lost all of my contacts and such when i jailbroke my 3g.?

how do i get them back without re- doing everything?

I just had this problem trying to sync in my email using MicroSoft Exchange.  In the process I lost ALL my contact information.  Well, I couldn't figure it out, so I just let the iTunes automatically set it up the way it was before.  Next thing you know, my contacts were back.

Oh, I had to delet the email account with  MicroSoft Exchange.  In other words, your iTunes should have already backed everything up for you.
