  1. Yes you can.  Just about every place that requires an ID for something will take any of the following:

    State Driver's License

    State ID

    Military ID

    Passport

    Any of these IDs can be used from anything to getting into a club to writing a check.  

    Good luck at the club/casino


  2. It should work fine.  The object is to provide proof of age, and a passport would certainly do that.
