I never saw or heard of him. There were also many of my friends and neighbors laid off at wisconsin steel on the south side of chicago. None of them have ever had any help from Obama. Where does he come off always saying he helped the steelworkers that were laid off on the South Side of Chicago?

  1. Laughing at you.

  2.   But by the tone of your criticism you ought to be OK with McCain then.

In a McCain " ownership society " you are given the opportunity to pull your self up by your boot straps.  Expect more of the same from a McCain administration.

So what are you complaining about?  I do wonder if you are telling the truth however.

  3. Really. I keep hoping the MSM will do interviews with Chicagoans to get their Obama opinions. Hasn't happened yet. From questions like yours I've come to think he's not well liked there. I've never seen a positive one.

  4. Find out the exact date you were laid off and then write to Obamas people and ask them what his schedule was that day.

This should give you  rough idea of where he was at this difficult time in your life.

  5. I'm not sure. Perhaps he was in contact with people that worked there and were laid off and you or your friends just weren't any of them. It doesn't mean that he didn't do it, it just means that you'll need to do more digging to find out whether or not there are workers who he met with.
