  1. If you like your job, just explain to them what

happened and stay calm. If you start to feel

overwhelmed or get really nervous they will

think you did something wrong..which you

didn't. So don't be afraid because you did

nothing wrong. Stand up for yourself and if

they don't like it then it's their loss. You can

do without a job at McDonalds. There are tons

of great jobs out there so don't stay upset,

everything will be ok :) Good luck!

  2. Is this a regular paper tea cup or somthing made of gold. That is just ridiculous. Well talk to the store manager, explain yourself and that the boy paid and if you have a good work history I don't see why he should fire you.

  3. It is theft regardless of the value of the tea cup and theft costs each business a lot of money every year. That money could have gone to things like employee pay rises but instead most go to cover losses sustained.

I am sure you may not have seen it as stealing but it is nonetheless. The fact that you did collect the money may help your cases but I would not believe your manager would give you your job back. If you are going to try to get your job back your apology must be heart-felt, recognizing what you did was wrong, and accepting your responsibility. Any attempt to diffuse responsibility by only accepting a part of it (e.g. it would not have happened if...), not being sincere, or getting into an argument about the events will not work. Finally do not talk to your manager during peak times but when they have a few minutes. Maybe call them up to ask to arrange a time to speak with them. In any event I would not expect to get my job back but maybe get a better reference by accepting responsibility for your actions.

  5. just be honest and explain what happen. Let him know that you really want your job and you were not trying to steal in any kind of way.
