I lost my phone at house, it is in silent mode, how can I find it?

How can I find my phone? I called from another phone and I could contact it but since the ring and vibration is off I couldn't find it. Can you tell me by which means I can follow the signal of it and can find it?

well dear you could try looking under your bed or pillow. can you actually remember where you last had it.

i lose my phone all the time but i just retrace my steps
