I lost my unsigned check, I will call company & ask to stop payment

but what if someone already found & cashed it illegaly, how do I find out who & who do I contact to find out.

if it is not your signature on the check, it is no good.

you need to call the company asap. if it was cashed by someone other than you, you'll probably never find out. if it was, most business's have camera's and could id that individual.
