I lost my wine cork opener and I need to open a bottle of wine. How can I without a cork s***w?

First, bet a somebody a dollar that you can open the bottle of wine with a boot.

Step 1  Remove the foil from the top of the bottle. tuck the bottle upside-down into the crook of your arm, or between your knees if you are seated.

Step 2  Holding the shoe or boot by the top, firmly strike the bottom of the bottle repeatedly with the heel. It may take a few minutes, but you will begin to see the cork slowly peek out from the neck of the bottle.

Step 3  When the cork is about halfway out, pull it out the rest of the way with your teeth. It's not pretty, but you'll be able to drink your wine, and you'll be a dollar richer to boot.
