I lost my wireless network key!?

Question

I just re-installed Windows Xp on my laptop and lost my wireless network key. My computer is logged on to the wireless and shows the key, in shadow text. Is there a way for me to retrive the key off my computer?

you can reset your network router from the little button in the back

Nope, it's stored encrypted.  Unless you wrote it down somewhere you'll have to start over with a new key.

download a program called cain and able (link in source) it has a tool there to recover the network key
