Question:

I lost three pounds this week?

I just started high school field hockey preseason, so i have had an intense 2.5 hour workout for four days in a row now. The thing is i have lost 3 pounds, and now am at 97 pounds. Shouldn't i be gaining weight if anything since i am gaining muscle, which i can def. feel? What am i doing wrong?

btw i am 16 years old, and at the beginning of the week i weighed 100.

I know that i am small, and don't need to lose weight, that is why i was alarmed by this

  1. IF you lose more I would get a doctor!


  2. You probably just lost "water weight" from working out in the sun and sweating a lot. It's not a big deal as long as you replace those lost fluids. Drink lots of water!!

  3. sorry to say this but you might need to eat some more

  4. you weight fluctuates daily. that's not a big deal loosing 3 lbs. you will probably gain it back tomorrow. just remember to eat healthy

  5. Haha, same thing happened to me one! =) It was a while ago at camp though. It's just that your body isn't so used to all that exercise because it's a fresh school year.Soon your body will adjust and you'll probably gain that weight back soon after.
