I lost three pounds this week.?

I just started high school field hockey preseason, so i have had an intense 2.5 hour workout for four days in a row now. The thing is i have lost 3 pounds, and now am at 97 pounds. Shouldn't i be gaining weight if anything since i am gaining muscle, which i can def. feel? What am i doing wrong?

  1. True you're gaining muscle but you're also burning calories which will make you lose weight by burning the fat that you have stored, so you're not doing anything wrong, you're losing fat AND gaining muscle. Congrats.


  2. It's possile to have a 3 pound weight difference in a week without actually gaining or losing 3 pounds of fat.  Lots of things go into that, what time of the day you weigh, how much salt you've had (promotes water gain), and tons of other factors.  

  3. And thats a bad thing?
