  1. um no i think that ia kinda crossing a border there.... i like my chinesse and i like my western but.... together.... i duno try going to a mall w a chinise resturant and a western resturanut and you each get your thing to go and eat in the court yard at a table so you are both happy

  2. I think it might be a man thing.. My boyfriend hates chinese also. but I love it.. they don't know what there missing out on..lol

  3. Go to the mall food court. They have everything.

I used to dislike chinese food when I was little. The only thing I would eat was Sweet and Sour chicken with out the sauce (like chicken nuggets) or Wonton Soup (kinda like chicken noodle) Or just eat rice.

  4. how about the cheesecake factory?

  5. Your best bet would be to go to a buffet. They'll serve chinese as well as chicken nuggets and ice cream.

  6. I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!

I'm the only one in my family who doesn't like chinese. Luckily, Main Moon (my local chinese place) has like the best fried chicken fingers in the world! The breading on the outside is hot and puffed and crisp so that it just melts in your mouth and inside is tender white meat chicken. Yummy yummy!

  7. Any freakin' Chinese Buffet restaurant has loads of American garbage like pizza and chicken nuggets.

  8. Check out 'Granville Island' the Public food court has a lot of different foods.

  9. Just ask them to grill up a steak or saute some fish/shrimp using only olive oil; it's usually no problem for them to do this!

  10. The Avalon Pub and Brewery on 1025 Marine Dr in North Vancouver serves Chinese food as well as American food.  I Think most contemporary pubs will serve this style of food where you can find a little of every kind.

  11. Not good Chinese, but Chinese nevertheless.  Take him to Uncle Willeys' Buffet on Kingsway near Metrotown.  How can he not like Chinese food and live in Vancouver?......try taking him to a Vietnamese restaurant...they have great soup, and have nice pictures on the menu...gradually introduce him to Asian cuisine....also Vietnamese waiters are usually more gracious than Chinese.  A s**y waitress always will make his experience better.

  12. You can try a Chinese Cafe. They're translated into "Chinese Styled Western Cafe". If you live near Los Angeles, there are tons in Monterey Park: Holiday Cafe, JJ Cafe, Regents Cafe. They're all pretty good. Don't get any of those nasty take out Chinese food =\, too much MSG. Get the authentic stuff at Chinese cafes. Hope this helps!

  13. If it's a chain, then it's not a good Chinese restaurant. Not knowing where you live kind of makes it impossible to answer. There's a very old place here that is really good. All the food is pretty wonderful and they have one item that always stands out to me. It's called a hamburger. I think they put it on there for the kids.
