I love animals! At first I wanted to be a Zoologist ( & I still do,) but I wouldn't be able to travel all over the world, and I'm not sure the area I live in has job opurtunitys for a zoologist. The closest thing to me is a zoo, and I would love to work there! But, I'm worried that I wont get on there, and there isnt anything close that i would be able to do. So I'm thinking that I should change my major to be something more flexable, any ideas on what I should pick that would be related?

  1. You could be a biologist. That pays really well. Or you could be a philosopher and write books on animal rights.

  2. You say you love animals, is it any kind of animals or just exotic ones like at the zoo. Because you can always work at a vet hospital in the kennel or at the front desk and if they really like you, then they can train you as a vet tech. You can also volunteer working at the zoo while you are in college. That should look good when you are applying for a job there. Since you want to travel around the world, maybe you can think about becoming a vet and just handle exotic animals and then you will be able to do that. Good Luck
