  1. Atkins is one of the most unhealthy DIETS in existence.  If you are looking for healthy, permanent weight loss, I suggest you stop this low carb nonsense immediately.  Focus on frequent small meals every 3 hours or so consisting of lots of vegetables and fruit, whole grains, lean proteins, and quality fats.

How many of the fiber tablets are you taking?  A couple a day with plenty of water should be fine, but they would not be something to rely on.  Excessive fiber in a short period of time can cause a bowel obstruction.  Better sources of fiber include fresh vegetables and fruit and whole grains, which goes back again to how unhealthy the Atkins DIET is...

  2. these pills have 4 grams of carbs per 2 pills. so yeah, this WILL ruin your ketosis.

  3. It would depend on the amount of sugar in them.

If the total grams of sugar is less than the grams of fiber then your net carbs should be o.k.

If you can find ones sweetened by splenda or aspartame ( or better yet xylotol) that would make induction work a whole lot better and faster.

If I remember correctly you are only allowed 20 grams of carbs a day on induction. Don't try and get cute and find ways to cheat. Stick it out and you'll be amazed at the results.

I lost 65lbs in 4 months when I first did Atkins.

When I started back up again I had discovered low carb tortillas, diet soft drinks and all kinds of little "sidestep" products and believe me my body was a lot harder to fool this time. It's like my metabolism is saying, "Yeah go ahead, you'll cave and start eating again, I'll wait."

    good luck to ya.

  4. They do have a little bit of sugar in them.  Read the label sometime when you are in the store.  If you are otherwise adhering strictly to the diet, it probably won't affect you enough to notice.
