I could go down to flying clubs and see whether anyone wants a passenger. I could email airlines to see. How can I blag some?

Note that I am just going for the ride, not to reach the destination. I like the view from the air.

Cheers,

  1. Get a job for an airlines.  You will get cheap to free standby flts.

Or join the Civil Air Patrol and volunteer as an observer.

Last suggestion is to join the air force, not the best idea at this time.

  2. Air Cadets (ATC) if you are young enough. They take you flying as well as plenty of other fun stuff.

There is no obligation to join the air force but if you ever do decide to it will look good.

  3. join the airforce!!

  4. Join the navy.

  5. be an air steward, get paid for it to then

  6. The first thing you should do is investigate a job flying. If you like it so much, why not get paid for it? In the mean time, go to local airports and talk to pilots. Flying clubs are a great place to start. See if you can do some work around hangars or help clean aircraft. Get to know some pilots and you're sure to bum a ride once in a while. ESPECIALLY if you pay for the gas. I've done this many times in the past. I used to spend three days a week at the airfield when I was in high school and found it easy to get in the air if I had some cash for fuel. It's expensive, but most pilots love to fly, but can't afford to as often as they'd like. If you spring for the fuel, they can log an hour or two and you get a ride. Aside from the occasional free ride, that's a cheap as it gets. Good luck.

  7. Need additional information then i will be glad to help. Where are you? Sydney? Adelaide? Somewhere rural?

  8. Well, for a bottle of gin, I'd happily let you hop on board my Sopwith Camel.

I usually like to sweep across the county, pelting people with custard tarts as I swoop by.

You do like pelting people with custard tarts from the air, I take it?

Well, at any rate, turn up at Beauville Mansion, Kent early on Sunday afternoon and you're very welcome to join me.

  9. you can get skybus tickets for 10 dollars.

  10. being a pilot

  11. Its not as simple as that, depending on what part of the country you are from,i know alot of people in the airline business, and for a leason your talking over a £100,you need to have a licence for a start, then you have verbal training

to go for a pleasure flight you want to head off to buxton aircraft museum, they have pleasure flights lasting half an hour for £75 and you get to fly in a tiger moth it doesn't get any better than that,
