I love football but theres so much to it?

Teams, positions, plays, strategy, scoring, leagues. I love football, i go to NFL.com at least weekly, and i can name 20+teams and players too. i own jerseys and guys love the fact that i actually understand the game and like watching it. but truthfully there is sooo much statistic and players, that i'm sort of having a hard time memorising.

and since i like it so much guys expect me to know all the latest football gossip, and games. how can i learn it ALL?

Play fantasy football.  I've been playing for 8 years, and I know more about football than my husband does.  It pi$$es him off.  

But beware, once you get into fantasy football, your life will never be the same :)

Watch the games and listen to the play-by-play guys and watch the formations of the teams. Football isn't a hard sport to figure out. Anybody can learn it

You don't have to know everything to impress. I like girls who know even know something about football.

Haha if you love it enough, you'll learn. Everyone thinks it's admirable that I like football and I'm a girl, I just say "Well I love it." You can get football posters to memorize all the teams and if they are in the AFC and NFC- that's how I learned. Plus my dad played college football so I can ask him ANYTHING about football and he knows.

You can enjoy football just by knowing the basics; which you sound like you do. When the guys expect you to know everything, just ask them about the specific thing you don't know.

You are right, I think it's neat there are girls like you that know a lot about the game. Just don't pressure yourself into thinking you have to know everything right away.
