something so stupid as a loaf of bread (when a grocery store is 2 miles away) or something similar. what are they thinking is causing all of this price hike. what causes people to drive such long distances for something so meaningless (u can substitue in whatever item you want for bread) but this is madness to me. how can so many people care about the enviorment and then get back in their suv and drive off?

  1. The grocery store is two miles away? I can easily walk that distance. I once walked to Redwood City, 15 miles from home. I have biked all over the San  Francisco Bay Area, 20 times to San Francisco, twice to Gilroy, once each to Oakland, Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay, and Sausalito

  2. i completely agree with you. it is funny how people complain about the high gas prices then get in their SUVs and drive away!! people are such hypocrites.

  3. I agree.  The greenest car is the one that doesn't get driven. Walk.  Ride a bike.  Take a bus.
