i am going to a indian restaurant on saturday so need to know the right answer. Will a madras be as nice as a jalfrezi.

Something in a sizzler dish with lots of sauce would be ideal.

  1. Bhuna? Or Rogan Josh?, Or even Dopiaza maybe?

  2. I love jalfrezi too! A Jaipuri is more or less the same as a Jalfrezi, but it has mushrooms, peppers and more corriander. I usually chop and change between the two, but personally prefer the Jaipuri as it's like an improved, better version!

  3. Rogon Josh or a Balti would be a good choice.

  4. have you tried asda jalfrezi sauce in a jar?its lovely with chicken or lamb or even turkey

  5. TRY KING PRAWN JALFREZI, BELIEVE ME I AM INDIAN AND IT IS FAB!!!!

OR ASK THE CHEF/WAITER FOR A MEAT CURRY WHICH HAS MANGO PICKLE IN IT, THE PICKLE INCLUDES MANGO, CHOPPED CARROTS, SPICES ETC.... AND IT TASTE REALLY GOOD.

  6. Depends where you live cos all indians restaurants each have a different taste for everything infact unique to them.

I love Shihee Tikka  said as ...(Shy Hee).. in a massala sauce this is 4 b*****s of chicken done in green peppers and onions with a lemon grass and mint flavoring ???.... I  think so but they won't tell me trully.... then covered in a massala sauce with keema rice and keema nan,

Then a small spoon ful of garlic sauce over the top and the smell from the steam rising from that meal is better than s*x lol......love it

  7. our local restaurants serve a dish called south indian garlic chilli (chicken), but the best thing is to ask the waiter, tell him what you like and ask him to recommend something similar but different, i used to always have jalfrezi, but every restaurent will have their own dish that is slightly different to it. Making me hungry just thinking about it.

  8. I would recommend a Balti or Masala, Passanda.

There is not much difference between the Madras and Jalfrezi.

Except i think Madras is spicier, so just go with the flow fitty!

Pick madras as you haven't had it yet, and it's worth a try!

    =)
