I'm looking for another that straightens as it dries wet hair that's more powerful.

Is the Conair Dry N Straight one?

Damage is not a concern...

  1. i would stay away from any wet to dry straighteners its so damaging to your hair it takes out all the moisture out of your hair there's this brand called ion sold at sally's beauty supply stores and it works wonders i have one called ion condtioning ceramic flat iron and i love it it eliminates frizz and adds so much shine to the hair and instead of taking away the moisture from your hair like a wet to dry it seals it in because of the ions in it its pricey but definatley worth it

  2. i love mine too. but i just blow dry first, and it takes about 1/3 of the time.

  3. thats really bad on your hair. your gonna regreat it one day when your hair is all gross and fried

  4. I have your same problem. I use mine everyday, when I first got it I feel in love with it. Now I actually have to blow dry my hair some for it to work.

  5. Damage may not be a concern now, but it will be. You are evaporating all the moisture out of your hair by applying such a hot iron when it's wet. Overtime your hair gets damaged. When your hair is damaged, it is harder to straighten it. Trust me. I went from 30 minutes to 5 minute straightening ON DRY HAIR just by putting away my flat iron for a few months.
