Alright, well, I love to run. I started running last year, and I have gotten a little better, but for some reason, I get EXTREMELY tired. Its not just an excuse. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to have a heartache once I stop. How do I prevent that? Are there any ways to cool down? Are there any good tips to running long distances? I want to be able to run far. In a few years I want to run a marathon with my friend, who was the one who helped me get into this. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

  1. I am going to assume you are healthy and that your problem is mechanical.  Is the friend you mention a runner?  If so run with him and have him evaluate your running.  As long as you have run, tired should be a manageable issue.  Sounds like you may be a shallow breather and that instead of deep breathing you start to gasp.  Running long distances is all about pacing.  What is your mile time?  What is your 2nd mile time?  Are they close or is one way faster than the other.  Marathon's are killers I hate to see someone who is not a long time runner do one.  it tends to drive them away from running.

  2. well i run track and its extremely important dat ur in a healthy state. Breathin problems can b very serious with runnin especially since all ur doin is runnin

one..make sure you are breathin rite wen u run cuz da wrong type of inhalin can turn 2 b a big prob..

the best thing to do is to go to da doctors and find out if u have sum type of problem..you mite have asthma..now it not dat bad..you can just get medicine 4 it and keep it treated. many ppl run with asthma

  3. first check with your doctor and make sure everything is okay.

try deeper slower breaths, cut your stride, you may be over extending.

if your trying to keep up with your friend don't, he or she has been running for a while now i would think and should be faster.

for the cool down don't just stop, walk, slow trot, swing your arms, stretch, but DON'T JUST STOP. then use a towel preferable damp to wipe off the sweat. just a sip of water for a few minutes

go to your doctor first please i don't want to hear about you getting hurt.

you might want to try a mini marathon first, you know 5,13,21 miles  first you are new at this so there ain't no shame in that.

that is a good way to start.

    good luck.
