I love snowboarding but im not able to go should i go in my back yard?

i have a steep hill but i dont want to ruin my new board but i have a good rail set up is it worth it?

  1. if you do wax your board first. try to flatten your garden first sl its a smooth ride:)


  2. Depends, if you are truly are a burton boarder, then their boards are too valuable for you to mess up in your back yard. But if you got a cheaper board then go ahead its worth it for the practice.

  3. Have you checked with the local Goodwill stores or similar locations? Maybe you can find a used board to use in the back yard and then save your good one for the slopes.

  4. Dude dont give these guys any more reason to hate on burton.  Your snowboard will get scratched up and beat up a bit. Heck yea you should build something in your backyard.  I ride a burton custom and I shred my backyard all night every night. Check out my 360 page its got a couple pics of the early backyard park. Its all different now, gonna get new pics soon..  But the answer is yes you should be riding in your backyard.  And dont worry about getting some dings in your deck, its made to jib and stomp big sh*t, don't be afraid to use the thing man!!!
