"A Night in India" at Toowong is a great choice.  I have been there a few times with friends and there is a really wide selection of food and the prices are very reasonable.  Also as a bonus they do not charge a surcharge on public holidays.  One of my friends likes super spicy food and she likes it too, you can request different levels of spicyness on all dishes.  Have fun.
