An absolutely wonderful and unexpected outlet for this look is Target!  I am furnishing my daughter's room with linens, accessories, and furnishings from their "Simply Shabby Chic" line, and you get the vintage look in up-to-date, sturdy materials, and quite inexpensively, too!

I haven't lived there for a while, but I can remember there being some great antique and recycled furniture shops around the Mt Lawley area - Beaumont St and beyond.
