It's cute, especially Claire, I adore that name! Only thing is, Isla is island in spanish so that's what it makes me think about. Isabella Claire is pretty.

I like it, and you are right it is pronounced EYE la, it is a Scottish name.  But i dont know anyone round here with it haha (i live in Glasgow, Scotland).  Murron is another Scottish name, it was William Wallace's wifes name.

I think the name SOUNDS very pretty, but...

She will be constantly correcting people and spelling her name for people, all her life. If you're someone that has lived through that, you'd never name your daughter something like this, because you know how agonizing it is for NO ONE to ever know how to pronounce your name. Imagine every school year having the teacher mispronounce it and having to correct her in front of the whole class. It's embarrassing.
