i love trains and i love train simulations and train/transport games like locomotion, i have a pc and i dont care what windows the game runs on (xp, vista) i want the best one you know

try this one...it is a new release ...rail simulator...just google it and some result's will show up.

Microsoft Train Simulator is getting on a bit now, but still has lots of free add ons from sites like www.uktrainsim.com - it can be picked up for £4.99 now

Rail Simulatior is good, but its still new so will take time for add ons to be created.

Finally there is BVE - Its more of a simulation with much more advanced gameplay, but the view is fixed and the world isn't animated. But it does support things like TPWS, Rain with working Wipers, very realistic sound and the biggest plus point - It's Free from http://mackoy.cool.ne.jp/ - UK routes can be found online easily :)

Railroad Tycoon 4 is fun, you can build your own RR, buy Locos, industries. There are also some Train simulators if that's what your looking for.
