I love watching Australian Football, but I don't know where on TV I can watch it in the US, any ideas?????

I was watching TV one night a while ago and saw australian football on TV, but I don't remember what channel it was on, and I really want to watch it again, but don't know where/when it is on!

I'm an Aussie, but the AFL or "Australian Football" as you call it bores me to tears, I know their great athletes but to me they play like cheer leaders compared to Rugby and Rugby League Players ! For the best football in Australia watch the "State Of Origin" between NSW & QLD on Wednesday night. You may have to order the match on foxtel or "cable" or see if there is an Aussie hotel or bar in you'r city sreening the game. It's worth it and by far the most exciting and toughest game there is, next best is Australia v England in Rugby League or Australia v New Zealand or South Africa in Rugby ! There both very different codes, don't you find it frustrating that America doesn't play against any other country ? Enjoy the game !

For those of you who live in North America, the Australian Football Association of North America has an updated TV Schedule on their website (see first link below).

The AFL is shown mainly on Setanta Sports USA(DirecTV Channel 615, Globecast WorldTV ch. 752).

On Saturday the 9th June on Setanta Sports, at 12:00am EDT is Hawthorn v Sydney, then at 11:00pm EDT at night is Adelaide v Geelong (see second website - will only work for 17 more hours). EDT represents US Eastern Daylight Time

there will be no australian football on regular cable TV you will probably have to get satelite and order the games because it is not as intresting to U.S. people as regular NFL is.
