I just hate the radical ones, the really sexist ones. And tracey, what's the point of even posting in this thread if you don't care. Don't want to contribute? Don't post. (I don't care if you got your 2 points, big deal)

  1. Explain why you hate feminists, then we'll be able to tell you.

EDIT: In that case, this question doesn't indicate any misogyny on your part, but I'll be observing you carefully.

  2. Not at all. You do not express hatred for all women, just women that have certain personal characteristics.

If the statement was " I love women, but not radical traditionalists" it would surely be met with much less animosity.

  3. Feminist believe in equal rights. I never met one so i don't know what the big fuss is all about.

  4. No you are not.

  5. I don't much care, to be perfectly honest.

  6. Yeah you have to explain why you hate femenist......you will get a clearer answer.

  7. No you are not if you see the hatred and sexism in the 3rd wave feminism.

If you hate all versions of feminism then you may be.

  8. Why do you hate feminists? You can't hate an entire ideology because of a few lunatics. Every group has a few crazies (vegetarians, meat eaters, Christians, Muslims, atheists, etc) but they don't represent the group as a whole. It's pretty irrational to make such severe judgments based on the actions/opinions of a few people.

  9. If you love women you would want them to be treated the same as you - meaning with respect and courtesy.  I always consider how I would want my child to be treated by others.  When I think that my daugthers work as hard as my sons and their education is the same cost, I really don't understand why the workplace would consider their abilities to be different for the same position.

  10. No, just prejudiced.

How do you tell a feminist just by looking at a woman? Not all feminist look or act like the negative stereotypes you've seen in the popular media circa 1970. In fact that kind of feminism for the most part is passe. Most feminists look like normal everyday women...and they do their work for equality in quiet ways.

So if you met a woman who was very nice and kind and you clicked with her, do you mean to tell me you'd drop your friendship with her because she considers herself a feminist? I'd say that's your loss, then.

  11. There is no need to hate anyone, but if you do hat feminist, you might not love women as much as you think.

  12. Do you only love women who act the way you think they should act?  If the answer is yes, then you are a misogynist.  Women are self-directed full human beings, who can decide for themselves how they want to behave, and have the right to pursue happiness as long as it does not infringe on others happiness.  If you think you know how other people should act, and "hate" them if they do not act that way, then your hate, if you take any action on it infringes on the other persons right to pursue happiness.

  13. They would say yes but in reality you are anti-feminist despite what they think.
