Of course he is, he's 66. If I were in his condition personally I would rather want to be dead.

I'm assuming you must be very young. Casius Clay was Muhammed Ali's name before he changes it following the Liston fight in 1964.

Ali was forced to retire (he had his licence revoked) in 1967 following his defeat of Zora Folley. He came back in 1970 (against Jerry Quarry) and won back the title in 1974 from George Foreman.

Pre layoff (i.e. pre 1967) Ali was stunningly fast - you should Google his fight with Cleveland Williams in 1966.It is supposed to be Ali's best performance. Willam's wasn't a bum, he was a big punching top contender.
