  1. Very important. If you don't take your hormone pills according to your doctor's suggestions, you could get weird hair growth, violent mood swings, hot flashes, and potentially go into hormone withdrawal. Some people die from the lack of the proper hormones.


  2. Well estrogen is what regulates body temperature. That's why some women going through menopause get hot flashes, because their body is not producing estrogen much anymore. Estrogen is also what gives your skin elasticity. Like if you tugged on the skin on your arm, and then let go it would immediately go back into place. After women go through menopause, that's why their skin kind of hangs, because its lost some of its elasticity. That's about all I know of its importance. I hope I helped!
