Can sm1 please tell me what is the arabic of this :

''There is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and all the praise is due to Him, and He is Potent over everything''

and of this :

''Hallowed be Allah, and all praise is due to Him''

My second question is if i say this in english will God accept it? or i should say in arabic?? because prophet muhammad saw said this in arabic ..

Heres the hadis :

Book 035, Number 6508:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who uttered these words:" There is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and all the praise is due to Him, and He is Potent over everything" one hundred times every day there is a reward of emancipating ten slaves for him, and there are recorded hundred virtues to his credit, and hundred vices are blotted out from his scroll, and that is a safeguard for him against the Satan on that day till evening and no one brings anything more excellent than this, except one who has done more than this (who utters these words more than one hundred times and does more good acts) and he who utters:" Hallowed be Allah, and all praise is due to Him," one hundred times a day, his sins are obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean.

  1. Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim

    Salaam Alaikum wa Rahmatullah

Here is the du'a:  la ilaha il Allah, wahdahu la shareekAllah.  Lahul Mulk, wa lahul Hamd, wa huwwa ala kulli shay-in qadeer.

The second is: subhanAllah wa bihamdihi

Allah will never cause a good deed of yours to be lost.  Saying du'as in Arabic is preferable, and you should strive to learn them that way, but if you praise Allah in the language you know, He will reward you for that.  And Allah knows best.

    Ramadan Mubarak!

    fi Aman Allah,

    Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

  2. There is more power when said in ARABIC as meaning is not shifted. So in Arabic with  knowing the meaning in your language.

  3. The First Hadith: ‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent.’

La ilha' iIla Allahu wahadaho la sharika lahu, lahool Mulku wa lahu hamd, wa who'ah ala kula sha'an ka'der.

(Site has it in Arabic; But i'm providing a transliteration if you can't read it; ITs my own transliteration btw hope you can understand it )

Second Hadith; "How perfect Allaah is and I praise Him."

    "Subhan'Allahe Wa be Humdehe"

(Check the site for Arabic Arabic ; )

    2. If you make du'a in english, won't Allah accept it? Yes. Its not like Allah only knows Arabic... ; ) But When you pray Salah you must say everything in Arabic. (I'm very sure on what I stated I wouldn't state something i hadn't learned, but I'm not a Sheik or Scholar so if you'd like to verify it yourself go ahead.)

    Wasalamu Allakum.

  4. 1st preayer

La ilaha illa-Allah, wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu-lmulku Wa lahu-lhamdu, Wa hua 'Ala kulli shay'in Qadeer

    2nd prayer

    Subhana-Allah wa bi Hamdeh

the most important thing is when you are saying it you have to be aware of its meaning, say it in Arabic or english, inshaAllah you gain the reward,,

    Allah knows best

  5. I'm not sure if reciting it in english is acceptable or not( unless anything that is being utters in ur prayer must be in arabic ).

But seriously, it is not that hard to memorise it in the arbic language as it is very short and sounds more beautiful in arabic.

  6. your question was answered.i just want to tell you that this means that if his sins are minor ones not major ones like shirk. "his sins are obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean."
