  1. It would be advisable to do so as this will help in the compiling of info with regards to your status. Also, it may help you with some form of entitlements / taxes / law, especially The Women's Charter of Singapore. This is a good protector of Women's rights.

  2. Yes, you have to declare it unless you want to give up your citizenship as Singaporean and migrate to Hong Kong, this is necessary as this is an obligation as a Singaporean to update any status change that you have to the government as the Singapore government has all rights to get updated.  

  3. By law you have to inform to you local authorities about your change of statues.
