I m an indian, can i apply for a passport without a ration card??

i have my birth certificate, voters id, Pan Card & marraige certificate. Pls let me know urgent

    you say you have

    PAN CARD, VOTER ID, BIRTH CERT.

    you can apply for passport, if you have 10th marksheet that will also be  usefull.

  3. ration card is one of the several requirements to establish your address. pan card and voter id will establish your address proof. so you can apply without ration card

  5. u dont need ration card for applying for passport. all u need is a identity proof and residence proof. it your residence adress on your voter id card is correct, that in itself is sufficient a s a residence proof and id proof. no ration card required.

  8. Yes you can use Voter's ID card for proof of Residence for the purpose of residential proof. Read this :- Proof of address (attach one of the following):  

    Applicant’s ration card, certificate from Employer of reputed companies on letter head, water /telephone /electricity bill/statement of running bank account/Income Tax Assessment Order /Election Commission ID card, Gas connection Bill, Spouse’s passport copy, parent’s passport copy in case of minors. (NOTE: If any applicant submits only ration card as proof of address, it should be accompanied by one more proof of address out of the above categories).
