I m in 11 std havin non-med,i want to be a commercial pilot.is it necessary to pass SPL 1st n thn go for CPL?

I m in 11th now n i'll be 17 this october, and after i pass 12th, i'll be 17, so is it mandatory to be 18 for getting training?? and is it necessary to get Student pilot licence and then PPL and then CPL??

  1. In order to become commercial pilot, you have to meet educational requirement set by the DGCA. It require 10+2 with math & physics at time of issue of CPL and you need to be 18 yrs old at that time. You can start the CPL traning at 17 yrs old.  To get CPL, you need to get PPL first then intrument rating then you go to CPL. If you need anyother info please contact me at kirtihpatel@yahoo.com
