I m in a Yahoo group. I have a nickname; not MY real name, yet my posts have my real name.?

I keep trying to post in the group, have followed the steps so that my full name does not appear. I send emails to myself and others confirming my nickname displays, yet when I post to the group, it comes up with my real name. How is this possible when my full name is not shown ANYWHERE except my original sign-up with Yahoo.

Check and see if you have the "use my signature" checked on your yahoo account. If you do, this may be telling the email site to use your real name.

you need to also edit the Account, signed in on the web, My Account is located very top middle, or via the messenger under the messenger tab- you need to back space it out there as well.
