  1. Sweet! I say DO IT!

  2. well talk is cheap i will give you a link to a site that will answer alot of your question, from pay scale, to job availability, catch phases and skill that employers are looking for, it is an awesome site but it does take a little bit of brains to work the site, and well Alberta i crying for this type of skilled labour, but the job outlook for that skill is good in all provinces.

good luck and all efforts to better yourself are more than worth it.

  3. Toronto is a great city to start a career in, because on the one hand, it is a world class city, with plenty of great companies and business, but on the other hand, it is an up and coming city as well. This means businesses are always growing, which means the job market is very very good. If you come from an ethnic background, Toronto is an even better place. We prefer the term "cultural mosaic" over melting pot, because melting pot implies that "you are welcome as long as you are exactly like us".  Being ethnic in a city like Toronto poses less barriers to one's career. Now, there are some things to consider. We pay higher taxes in Canada. However, if you decide to become a Canadian citizen, say thourgh marriage, you would get access to free medical care, your children would pay less to get into University, costs of prescriptions are lower, and cost of living is lower than some of the major US cities. Your best bet is probably looking into coming here for an education, and deciding while you are here whether to stay or not. The University of Toronto is a GREAT university, with a GREAT reputation around the whole world. It also boasts the second biggest University library in North America, beating out all but one of the US's Ivy league schools. U of T is really the best value for your money if you balance quality of education, price, and prestige.
