  1. Just be yourself and go out and join a sport like tenpin bowling, cricket, soccer... basically any team orientataed sport and you will make friends fairly quickly not to mention any that you make at school

  2. Don't worry. You will make friends really easily. Just get involved in some communtiy activities.

    I lived in New Zealand once and both Aussies and Kiwis are really easy to get along with!

    Just stand tall and be yourself. I'm sure people will love you and your kiwi accent (if you have one that is!)

    Brisbane is a great place to live. Heaps of sunshine (well, not recently with all the rain we've been having, haha) Your not far away from world-class beaches on the gold and sunshine coasts.

    You'll have a ball here!

    Cheers =)

  3. Can you make new friends in NZ?  There will be no difference.

    But the usual advice - play sport, join clubs and be a decent bloke and the friends will come.  Under no circumstances be arrogant about the All Blacks (chokers).  You are allowed to talk about your cricket team.

  4. you will be able to find friends easily,especially since your moving from another country with a different accent, i don't know why but kids love other kids with accents,i moved here from nz last year, and once you've gotten over leaving your friends behind you will love it, theres way more things to do over here
