I m not able to hear sound in my speakers,but in another OS the spaekers are working. Wht should i do?????????

I have put Windows Vista as well as XP in my System.I m not ale to able to hear the sound in my speakers all my connections are correct, all the configurations are correct Plz help me out.Wat should i do??

If it works in xp but not in vista it may mean that the manufacturer of your sound card may not have drivers that are compatible with vista....or on the other hand if it's a system built for vista they may only be compatible with windows vista. Check the manufacturer website and search for the model of soundcard or motherboard if the speaker outputs are built-in to the motherboard, and look for drivers for whatever OS that it is not working with.
