but after that they’ll be out. Will they still be safe to eat on Sunday? Would it be better if I just kept them out of the refrigerator the whole time so the temperature doesn’t change drastically?

  1. 2 days is fine to keep out of the fridge. Put a little plastic wrap over them and they'll be fine.

  2. No.  Refrigerators are made for storing meat!

  3. Yum! I'm as anti-mould as the next person, but it's going to sound gross: Any sort of baking with oil in it actually improves with a little age! They go moist and the flavour improves as the oil absorbs and releases the aromatic molecules from the cocoa and stuff (I read that in a baking book - that's why in recipies you add flavour ingredients when you add the fatty things like butter and egg yolks). I always keep my brownies for 4-5 days before eating them. They will be fine!

  4. they should be fine, but i would probably just leave them out of the fridge the whole time.

  5. they will be fine to eat, but you should have just left them out the whole time (for future reference). sweets do not go bad very quickly if they are kept in an air tight container. if you are planning on making a lot, throw some into the freezer and pop them in the oven the next time you want to bring a batch out to eat for that week. you can tell sweets go bad by their taste after a while. they tend to taste like the container you put them in, sort of stale air-ish.

  6. keep them in the fridge just make sure to warm them up before you eat them. and don't forget the plastic wrap.

  7. sounds ok. just keep them out of the fridge.

  8. Yes.  We have a 3-day rule in our house.  Most foods are safe for 3 days.  That is an awesome recipe btw.  I am hungry for brownies now.  I will be over in a half an hour.  I will bring the soy milk.
