I made a dark chocolate cake, it's cooling should ice it with whipped cream cheese or chocolate frosting

its a box mix with canned frosting, just dont know which one to choose

Dark chocolate cake with dark chocolate frosting is a killer ! :)

DARK CHOCOLATE FROSTING  

1 stick butter

2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate

1 1/2 c. light brown sugar (packed)

1/2 c. milk

1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar

Melt together butter and chocolate. Blend into this the brown sugar and milk. Cook and stir to boil, simmer 4 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; beat in sugar. Cool, beating occasionally until thick enough to spread.

If frosting stiffen add about 1 teaspoon hot water.

Cream cheese, then drizzle chocolate sauce on the top.  It will be delicious and pretty, too.

So hard to choose from. I would use whipped cream cheese and top it with shaved chocolate, but you probably don't have chocolate in hand.

I love cream cheese frosting on anything...but Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting is the best especially if you eat with vanilla ice cream
