  1. there are several options here just how far do you want to go? and next time dont be so stupid and trusting.

  2. That's a very low thing for him to do.

You could take him aside and tell him you don't appreciate his doing that. Or you could just ignore him from now on.

Whichever you decide to do, be sure you don't tell him anything confidential again in the future.

  3. Well you should make it obvious that you feel betrayed, or better yet confront him but if you stop talking to him immediately and completely ignore him he will get the picture that you no longer want anything do with him because of his actions.

  4. wow you really are something... telling ideas to people you know is all right but telling delicate ideas to your enemies?? come on!

i think it kinda is your fault so you can't do anything about that and be demoted or scolded by your superiors. i think facing your punishment now is really in your best interest, otherwise he will smooch some money of favors to you till the day you retire or you break and you will receive your punishment then too. working in firms is hard and that's just the way things are.just accept the blame, who knows it might turn good to you, other than to be branded a traitor to the company...

    >_<

  5. Shame on your coworker for going against his word, and shame on you for thinking confidentiality exists in the workplace.

In the future, make no assumptions.

  6. Smile when confronted about the issue, oh that was in the past, I'm over it, oh I haven't thought about that, that's not part of my life now, Where did you hear that. No that not quite it some time I will have to tell you the true story.
