  1. Maybe a couple dollars more than the yarn was worth.


  2. It depends on the quality, the amount you spent on supplies, and the time you took to make it.  You should attach a picture:)  Hand made always goes for more though so I'd charge at least $10.

  4. I've sold a lot of hand knitted scarves at various shows.  The bottom line is that you should sell it for whatever the market will bear.  If you can't sell it for enough money to cover your costs and make a satisfactory profit, then you have to do one or more of the following:

    1. Decrease your costs.

    2. Decrease your labor time.

    3. Find a different market that will pay a higher price.

    4. Make something else that can be sold profitably.
