I sewed a skirt for myself and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, but I would have to wear a slip with it because it's a little see-through in the light. It's navy made from broadcloth. Plus because it's a light fabric it's a little pouffy. What can I do to weigh it down a little?

  1. Try sewing in a lining.

  2. you can buy another blue plain skirt to wear under it so it can be layered and nice with the see through skirt you already have

  3. wear some tight shorts that are white.

  4. Sew in a Satin Liner.  It's heavy enough to weigh it down, but light enough, that it won't be too uncomfortable.  Plus it feels nice on Your skin!
