I made a yahoogroup on a email adress and deleted that adress.how do i give ownership of the group back 2 me?

Log in to Yahoo Groups using the Yahoo ID you had when you created that Group.  Then go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups and make sure the Group you made is still listed as one of your Groups, and that there is a blue crown just to the right of the Members column on the line for that Group.  If you see all that, you're still an owner of the Group.

But now you need to change the e-mail address you have associated with your Group.  To do this, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/member/preferenc... , then click the Add Email Address link towards the upper-left-hand corner.  Follow the directions on the resulting page to type in your new email address and verify it with Yahoo Groups.

After you're done verifying your new e-mail address, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups?o=2&edi... and find the line with the name of this Group you created.  On this line, two or three columns to the right of the Group Name will be an Email Address column with a pull-down menu to select your e-mail address associated with that Group.  Use the pull-down menu to change this address to your new e-mail address that you just verified.  Don't forget to click the Save Changes button when you're done.

an e-mail address wouldn't make a difference, the Yahoo ID does matter and if that was also your Yahoo mail used oh boy.

if there is no one else as owner of that group, and you deleted your ID, you're out of luck- sorry. best option then is create a near same group and start over.
