  1. Either chuck them, or have something else available for if they dont' want to eat.  If they ask, say, "we all have to learn sometime."  and let them eat them anyway.  Then they'll appreciate it more when they turn out better.

  2. I would not serve anything i would not eat.

  3. yes. your family is always obligated to eat your culinary experiments.

  4. I'm used to s******g up food, so I just warn someone ahead of time and say something like "These didn't turn out like I thought they would. If you don't like them, you don't have to eat them." You might want to have another dessert on hand. :-)

  5. You'd have to start over or make something new.sorry.

  6. If you think they are awful and icky, then I wouldnt serve them to your family, they remember these things, and next time you want to make this kind of recipe and do it better, they might not even want to try it!  Just start of with somethin new and attempt the empanada recipe again another time.

This is one of my favorite empanada recipes:

  7. What's wrong with them?  Anything you can do to improve them as they are -- add spices, add a sauce or gravy, etc.?

If not, I'd probably toss them out, or offer them with your warnings and have something else prepared just in case.

  8. chuck 'em and start fresh

  9. if you love your family please don't serve them the icky empanadas.

  10. ASK THEM DO THEY LIKE THEM ... LET THEM TASTE THEM 1st
