I usually always have dinner ready for my bf before he comes home and today I made him fish n chips. Problem is... I made the fries in a skillet and now they are all soggy, how do i get them crispy? Do I put them in the oven? If so, for how long and at what temp?

  1. If you wanted them crispier you should have turned up the heat a bit, the oven can make them crisp or you can deep fry them. Try 425F in the oven until they look crisp.

  2. i think u should put them in the oven at the temp 450. and leave it in for 20 min. and it should be crispy and it if still is not crispy put it in on the same temp for just 5

  3. Put them in a 400 degree oven and they will dry up.  About 8-10 min.

  4. fry them

  5. you can either bake/broil them, or shock them in oil.

If you like extra crispy fries, than shock them in really hot oil. Turn the heat up on the oil extra high, then place the fries in for 2-3 minutes and the potatoes should be extra crispy.

If you have time, preheat your oven/toaster oven to 450 degrees, place them in a single layer on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

  6. dont microwave them...

oven...leave them in for a long time then let them cool for 5 minutes or so before you serve them

  7. Put them in the oven for 375 broil. Take them out when they are crisp. Place them in a high rack near the top.

  8. Put them in the oven at 450 for about 15 - 20 minutes, make sure they have enough olive oil to help get them crispy.  You could also put them under the broiler if you are in a hurry, watch them so they don't burn, turn a few times.

  9. put them in a toaster oven for 375 degrees
